seriously love your site. i read a reply that said you don't consider akira a fandom and i completely agree. i know you like otomo's works (anyone with taste does lol), but what other anime/manga artists do you like? i'm partial to satoshi kon's work...

i appreciate that a lot, your site layouts are always cool. i'm not really an animanga fan besides otomo... but i like people who worked with him. like satoshi kon. i need to check out more of his work. i also like takashi nakamura's work (akira animation director). i recommend "a tree of palme," one of my friends really likes that movie

Hello! Fellow fictionkin here-- I ADORED your site, its so well-made! Your post "learn to be ignored" was fascinating. I never really interacted with my own source's fandom that much, so fortunately I never had to deal with anti-kin sentiments, but I really empathize with your feelings-- as someone who's in highschool, things like gossiping, talking behind people's back and overjudging others based on their school performance are the norm and it's so, so annoying. Who cares if X skips school or if Y don't have good grades? I think that we live in a world that has a culture which encourages people to care too much about other people's business while not making any effort to understand, respect or show compassion to the other party. It sucks, but fortunately this is changeable. Anyways, it was nice to see another fictkin on neocities! ^^

thanks, the akira "fandom" is so small. i interact passively these days. my writing came from seeing anti-kin posts on social media and learning more about fictionkind history and feeling tired about the perception of fictionkin i'm glad you plan on reading/watching akira

hey I just wanted to say that you're really awesome and I wanted to drop that and leave. the Akira fandom is so small I found you in like 3 different platforms accidentally (I AM SO SORRY IF THAT SOUNDS STALKERISH I SWEAR IM PICKING UP CRUMBS WHEN LOOKING UP AKIRA CONTENT) but I ended up listening to a lot of music that you recommend and it is pretty awesome sauce. I hope you're okay and I love your art and your website! stay tetsuo :3
